From single girl to wife to mother... has any other journey been this crazy?
Monday, 29 March 2010
We took our daughter to Peckham Pulse/Soft play today, He first play outing. She really is still too small to join in so we lay her in the ballpit where she just loved! Maybe she was just so happy sharing playtime with both of us!

4 months Today
I can not believe your already 4 months old today. Time is moving too fast. I remember the day I was told I was expecting you like it was yesterday.
Before you were conceived, I wanted you. Before you were born, I loved you. When you were born, I saw your face and I knew that I was in love. Before you were an hour old, I knew I would die for you. To this day, I will. This is the miracle of life.
You complete me baby girl

I thought I knew Love
I thought I knew love. I do know love but now it comes in a different form. I am in love with my husband. He's an amazing support system.
So this different form of love, I call it motherhood. I was told you never know how much you can love someone until you have a child. I look at Tula and I want to cry. Even when she's crying and won't go to sleep. I stare at her and can't believe she's mine. She is so gorgeous and I am in total awe. I love being at home with her and it makes me want to be a stay at home mum more and more.

Nyron is a great father, even though he doesn't think it, he really is. Of course I have had my sleep-deprived, post-partum hormonal moments which I have taken out on him but he takes it with such grace. He nodds his head, and walks away. He's amazing with Tula and he is totally in love. She has him wrapped around her finger and she's barely 5 months old.
Right now I am sitting next to the baby monitor. Tula is not wanting to go to sleep but he's keeping his patience and talking to her. I know he wants her to sleep so bad but he continues to sooth her. I don't think he knows I have the monitor on.
Motherhood is a great thing to be a part of.
I am finally feeling a part of this new club. It's a lifetime membership and I am proud to be a part of it.

Tulá get's her ears Pierced
Today you had your ears pierced, you had it done at Claire accessories Clapham Junction.
I have wanted to get them done since you were 4 weeks old, but the law now say's babies have to be at least 4 months old. You started to cry as soon as the lady touched you. She marked your ears with the black felt, I held onto you so tight, bang! You let out a cry but considering you weren't too bad at all.
Again the next ear and it was over. You look so cute with your little studs.
I am so fortunate to have such a pretty little girl to call mine. xxx

Thank God for Bumbo
Every mother will know that sometimes you just need a few minutes to hang up the washing, put dinner in the oven or brush your teeth. Because Tula hates being left on the play gym too long. Recently I bought her a Bumbo seat, which she seems to love. And I think she just looks too precious in it anyway, so it is a win-win situation!
P.s Also, take note of the basket of washing behind her. There another basket sitting somewhere too.

First Play Date
Today Tulá had her very first play date. We joined Lushka and Kyra at Ruskin Park 1'o clock club. Tulá was a little taken back on the amount of children and noise there was. Kyra was being really friendly and kept trying to reach out and hold Tulá's hand, but Tulá was conformable with that and started getting a little teary eyed.
